You Can Now Access Medical Weight Management from Home in Ohio

By Michelle Perry, APRN, FNP-C·March 2026·4 min read

Getting access to quality medical care shouldn't require driving an hour each way, taking time off work, or sitting in a waiting room. For Ohio residents, our telehealth program makes physician-supervised metabolic care accessible from wherever you are.

What is our Ohio telehealth program?

MP Integrative Medicine is currently accepting patients for our Ohio telehealth medical weight management program. All visits are conducted virtually — by phone or video — and are available to patients who are physically located in Ohio at the time of their visit.

Services are provided by Michelle Perry, APRN, FNP-C under a collaborative practice arrangement in accordance with Ohio state law.

What does the process look like?

Here's what to expect from start to finish:

01

Book your consultation

Schedule directly online through our booking portal. You'll receive confirmation and intake instructions right away.

02

Complete your intake

Before your first visit, you'll complete a health history form and consent documentation through our secure patient portal.

03

Comprehensive evaluation

Your first visit is a full evaluation — we review your history, discuss your goals, and determine whether GLP-1 based metabolic therapy is appropriate for you. No treatment begins before this step.

04

Labs

We'll order labs as clinically indicated. You can have these drawn at a local lab near you — no need to travel to us.

05

Personalized treatment plan

Once your evaluation is complete and labs are reviewed, we build your individualized treatment plan — including medication, nutrition guidance, and follow-up schedule.

06

Ongoing support

Follow-up visits at 4 weeks, then every 4–8 weeks. We monitor your progress, adjust as needed, and stay in your corner.

Important: Ohio location requirement

To receive telehealth services through our program, you must be physically located in Ohio at the time of your visit. This is a legal requirement for telehealth prescribing under Ohio state law — not a preference. We document patient location at the start of every visit.

Is this program cash pay?

Yes. MP Integrative Medicine is a cash-pay clinic. We don't accept insurance, which means we're not constrained by what insurance will or won't cover. You get the time, the attention, and the plan that's actually right for you — not the plan that fits a billing code.

Pricing is transparent and discussed upfront. No surprises.

Who is this for?

Our Ohio telehealth program is a good fit if you're an Ohio resident who:

  • Is looking for medically supervised weight management — not a diet plan
  • Wants access to GLP-1 based metabolic therapy through a proper evaluation process
  • Values a provider who takes time to understand your full picture
  • Prefers the convenience of virtual care without sacrificing quality
